CC — AC Chair Car

Chair Car is a seat, not a berth, in a 3+2 layout with reclining backs, meant for journeys of a few hours. It is the standard class on Shatabdi, Vande Bharat and most day-time intercity trains, and appears on a few overnight trains as a cheaper alternative to a berth.

For cancellation CC follows the same table as 3A. On Vande Bharat and Shatabdi the fare is a dynamic or premium one and can run above the base scale.
